Jade Stove
My mom gave me a Jade Stove for our 10th year anniversary a couple of years ago and have done a lot of cooking on it from broiling, baking and all the usual stuff you do on a stove/range. My problem started just a few weeks ago when I was about to bake a batch of cinnamon rolls and I was having a hard time making my Jade oven to turn on. Eventually I did turn my Jade oven on, but that got me thinking that there might be something wrong with my Jade oven. My husband suggested to call the gas company first and have it checked if there was any problem with the gas line.
I called the gas company the next day and they have someone come and check on our unit and gas line. By the afternoon the guy from the gas company was inspecting the gas line and said that there was something wrong with Jade stove since the gas line is ok. He suggested to call a repair company that I know but I said that this was the first time that I had an Jade appliance that I need repaired. He suggested Magic Touch Appliance repair since he said he worked alongside a technician before who did an installation for a DCS Range and he found the technician quite knowledgeable.
I searched online and found Magic Touch Appliance repair , on one of their ads and called Magic Touch Appliance repair up. I was scheduled for repair the next day and Magic Touch Appliance repair technician named Ivan arrived around 8 am. He checked on the stove and informed me that the pilot light is not working and needs to be replaced. Appliance tech said he tried manipulating the adjuster valve but it still wasn’t working. He gave me a quote and said that he can get the Jade parts from their local supply store and be back by lunch time. I asked appliance technichen to go ahead and order the parts but do the repair the next day since I had some errands to do that day. He came back the next day with a new pilot light and replaced the old one and he was able to make it work in less than 1 hour.
Thank you Ivan and Magic Touch Appliance repair for fixing my Jade stove!!! Now I know I have someone reliable to call who will be able to fix any of my appliances in case they break down on me.
